Before celebration, Muslim need going through long whole one month for fasting, called Ramadan. After the end of Ramadan month, Muslims start to celebrate most important celebration festival, full of adorning many premises and shopping malls. Muslims will dressing colourful tradition costume to pray at the mosque and gathering to pay visit house to house with family, relatives and friend. Hari Raya Aidilfitri enhances family cohesion in a way of traditional and eternally. So in the period of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, you may notice all of people will greet Malay Muslim with a slogan word “Selamat Hari Raya” (Happy celebration day), no only Muslim to Muslim, but also other race send greeting to our lovely Malay.
Furthermore, you may easily find Green colour as the primarily element decoration in shopping malls and Malay houses during festival. This is actually known as green colour symbolizes nature and life, therefore green colour is widely used in anywhere, and including “Green Packet” with money token will be given by Malay to junior and visitor as a blessing.
